This Dorset wool yarn is really unique. We've taken the Dorset wool which is a fine, springy wool, and spun it into a thick and thin bulky weight yarn. The end result is a yarn that produces a highly textured fabric and makes for interesting knitting even on the most simple of projects. This yarn would also be interesting as the weft in weaving projects, but because of the unevenness throughout the strand it might not be the best option for crochet. As with all our OBSS yarns, this base will only be available for a short time and cannot be reproduced.

Our skeins are hand-dyed using acid dyes and a semi solid "kettledye" process that produces bold and expressive colors. Additionally, there may be some color bleed in the yarns first wash. If you plan to do color-work with your yarn, we recommend washing it beforehand.
